Purpose

This report displays all the assessment item details for unit offerings.

The report will contain such details as:

  • Basic unit offering option detail.
  • Detail of assessment patterns required within each offering option.
  • Detail of assessment items required within each offering option.
  • The units pass parameters (grading schema details).

The report is used for validation of assessment details and as part of data collection.

Run Details

This job is run:

  • At the start of an assessment period.
  • Prior to the examination period.
  • At any time deemed necessary for whatever reason.

This job is run during assessment periods to provide information which can be used to:

  • Validate the accuracy of assessment item details.
  • Notify academic staff of assessment item details.
  • Compile a checklist of information for supervisors in exam sessions.

It is recommended that this job be run in batch mode. However, it can be run online, particularly where the report is run with parameters specifying a small data set, such as a specific unit code.

Job Parameters

Most parameters for this job are used to refine the data set produced in the report.

The report can be run for:

  • Examinable assessment items.
  • Non-examinable assessment items; or
  • Both examinable and non-examinable assessment items.

When including examinable assessment items in the report, they can be restricted to scheduled items only.

Recording an assessment type restricts the details to those referring to the assessment type.

The report can be run for an individual assessment item by entering the assessment ID.

Optionally include:

  • Grading schema details; and
  • Full exam details.

The Other Details parameter allows the recording of textual information about examinations. This text can be defined in the Maintain Job Text form (JBSF4170). By default the most recently used text is inserted.

Optionally display address details for the unit coordinator by selecting the unit coordinator address type parameter. If a type is not selected address details are not displayed.

The report is presented in landscape mode.

The report displays details of assessment items for the units in the following order:

  • Unrestricted assessment patterns (not restricted to a location, mode or class)
    • Examinable assessment items within the unrestricted assessment patterns
    • Non-examinable assessment items within the unrestricted assessment pattern
  • Unrestricted examinable assessment items not part of an assessment pattern
  • Unrestricted non-examinable assessment items not part of an assessment pattern
  • Restricted assessment patterns (restricted to a location, mode or class)
    • Examinable assessment items within the restricted assessment patterns
    • Non-examinable assessment items within the restricted assessment pattern
  • Restricted examinable assessment items not part of an assessment pattern
  • Restricted non-examinable assessment items not part of an assessment pattern
