Update Process

This job updates any 'recommended' student unit attempt outcomes, changing them to 'finalised'.

Run Details

This job is run: Just prior to publishing student unit attempt outcomes. At any time deemed necessary for whatever reason. This job must be run in batch mode. Refer to the Job Control and Scheduling subsystem for details on scheduling and running batch jobs.

Job Parameters

Most parameters in this job are used to refine the data set produced. The Allow Finalisation of Invalid Grades parameter allows the user to choose whether to finalise invalid mark/grade combinations or not. This will normally depend on the policy of the institution.
