Normally Run By

Scheduled to run in batch mode as required.

Anticipated Frequency

Whenever assignment cover sheets are required. Generally set up as a standing request to run at regular intervals, such as weekly.

Update Process(es)

Automatically creates a correspondence item record for each cover sheet.

Parameter Sample

Related/Dependent Jobs

Dependent on ASSJ3610 - Initiate Tracking Items For Assignments running first.

This job is a prerequisite for the job ASSJ3501, which should be run as part of the same request.

Update Process

  • The process automatically creates a correspondence item for those assignment cover sheets produced from this process.

Run Details

  • ASSJ3610 and this process are dependent and are therefore run within the same request. The same parameters are used for the two processes. ASSR3610 must run before this process, as cover sheets can only be produced for assignments with associated tracking items.
  • The job ASSJ3501 is dependent on this job and MUST be run within the same request as ASSJ3610 and this process. ASSJ3501 should be the last of the three jobs in the sequence.
  • Parameters for ASSJ3610 must be defined first. Parameters for this job default from ASSJ3610. If they are overridden an error will be generated.
  • After duplicate parameters have been accepted for ASSJ3610 and this job, it is possible (but highly discouraged) to return to ASSJ3610 and amend its parameters, causing an inconsistency between the two sets of parameters.

Job Parameters

Job parameters are used to:

  • limit the set of student unit attempt assessment items for which cover sheets are produced. It is possible to specify a cover sheet for a single assignment for an individual student.

The parameters used in this job must match those used in ASSR3610. Most parameters are used to restrict the activity of this job to a subset of all potential records.
