This form is used to maintain the set of available web Self Serve Access levels or types. Each access code represents a broadly defined type of access. For example: Administrative, Secured, Public. Each self service access is associated with one or more user categories, as defined in the Maintain Self Service User Category form (SSFF1700). For example: access code SECURE might be associated with the user categories APPLICANT (applicants for course admission) and ENROLLED (enrolled students). Each access code is also associated with one or more Self Serve Applications such as Results or Enrolment, as defined in the Maintain Self Serve Application form (SSFF1100). Each user category (in SSFF1700) therefore inherits access to a set of applications via its link to one or more Self Serve Access Codes. For more information on self service access refer to Understanding Callista Connect Manager. |

Selecting the Self Serve Application Inquiry button displays the applications that have been associated with the Context Access Code in SSFF1100. |
Rules/Notes: Validations include:
The System Authentication User Code is displayed with the Self Serve User Category information. If a user has already achieved authentication to a secure application via a particular category, then they can achieve re-authentication to another secure application whose access code is associated with the same category (either active or inactive). The Authenticate All User Categories check box enables one authentication functionality for Connect users. For example, if the Self Serve User Category is 'Applicant', the user has a user log in name and password. The same exists if the user is a 'Student'. If the one person is both Applicant and Student, they would need to log in twice with different user names and passwords. With the check box selected, the person (both Applicant and Student) only logs in once with one password. |
