This form is used to record the institution defined Milestones Statuses and link these to system statuses. The related system status provides Milestone reminder functionality. Each Milestone Status must be unique. Status Name, Description and System Status must all be recorded. Once a Milestone Status has been used as part of a Candidature Milestone, it cannot be deleted. Select the Closed indicator to prevent future use. There should be at least one active institution-defined Milestone Status for each system status. |
Rules/Notes: The system statuses are 'ACHIEVED', 'FAILED', 'PLANNED', 'RE-PLANNED'. Unless it is important to use existing institution defined terms, it is recommended that institution-defined Milestone Statuses reflect the system status names. |
