Electronic Calendar

The purpose of the Electronic Calendar is to be able to select a date for insertion into a parameter.

The icon invokes the Electronic Calendar. A date selected in this Calendar is inserted into the appropriate field in the calling form on return to that form.

For example, in the Job Control and Scheduling Subsystem, jobs are normally scheduled to run on specific dates. The correct dates can be selected using the Electronic Calendar, and automatically inserted into the schedule form.

To select a date using the electronic Calendar:

• Select the month, using the arrows to the left of the top field ('August 1998' in example)
  back a month
  forward a month.
• Select the year, using the arrows to the right of the top field ('August 1998' in example)
  back a year
  forward a year.
• Select the day by clicking on it in the Calendar area (20^th in example).
• Select the OK button to return to the form. (Select Cancel to return without inserting the date in the calling form.)

In the current month, 'today's date' is underlined on the Calendar.
