Update Process The System Log is used by many Callista jobs to note those records that the job was unable to process (exceptions). The jobs' Exception Report can then access the log in order to retrieve and report details of the unprocessed records and error and/or warning messages. This job is used to remove from the System Log, entries older than the specified number of days. For example, the job could be run nightly to delete all System Log entries older than 28 days. Rules/Notes: The System Log Type is an abbreviated name for the job which produced the entry. A separate instance of this job can be requested to delete entries of each log type. This enables entries of each log type to be deleted at different ages. The log type(s) older than the number of days specified will be removed from the system. |
Parameters are used to define the set of log entries to be deleted. |
Rules/Notes: No reports are produced. |
