Interface Product Mapping

The form allows for the definition of interface products within Callista. This form also allows for the mapping of these products to specific system interfaces and web services.

This information is used within interfaces like the Address Verification interface to determine which software is used at an institution for a specific interface.
If the Email Address Verification System is not available (i.e address verification is not available in PE_ADDRVER), then an email is sent to the administrator (entered in the Recipient Email Address field) and is logged by the system. The interface product responsible for address verification is able to store these email addresses.

A FOP (Formatting Object Processor) Interface Product Code should be recorded here together with an associated Parameter String value. (For further information, refer to the technical information located in the Callista Product Centre (wiki.callista.com.au/display/CPC). This Configuration file referenced by the parameter is used by the Document Transformation Process within the Communications system to generate PDF/RTF files and may include custom fonts used in PDF/RTF communication templates.

This form can be accessed directly from the Callista menu.

The Interface Product block contains:

  • Interface Product Code
  • Description
  • Closed check box
  • Sender Email Address
  • Recipient Email Address
  • Parameter String

The Interface Product Mapping block contains:

  • System Interface Product Code (LOV)
  • Description
  • Web Service Code (LOV)

Rules/Notes:

Validations include:

  • A Closed System Interface Code cannot be mapped with an Interface product.
  • A Closed Web Service Code cannot be mapped to a System Interface Code and Interface Product Code.
  • A System Interface Code can only be mapped to one interface product at any one time.
  • If one of the email addresses is entered then both the Sender and Recipient email addresses must be entered.
