Purpose

To allow the definition of a link between a Fee Calendar Instance and a Graduation period (ceremony round).

This form can be accessed from FINF2100 (Maintain Fee Types) and FINF2800 (Maintain Fee Categories). This form is used to define a link between a fee calendar instance and a graduation period (ceremony round). This will be used by the fee assessment routine to determine the fee period in which a fee should be charged.

The link can be made at either the Fee Type Calendar Instance (FTCI) level or the Fee Category Fee Liabilities (FCFL). At the FTCI level, the link between fee and loan periods relates to the selected fee irrespective of category. At the FCFL level, the link only applies to the fees within the category selected.

The Fee Calendar Instance block contains:

• Calendar Type
• Start Date
• End Date
• Fee Type
• Fee Category
• Currency

The Fee Ceremony Rounds block contains:

• Graduation Calendar Type
• Description
• Start Date
• End Date

Rule/Notes:

Where this form is invoked from FINF2800 (Maintain Fee Categories) and records exist at the FTCI level, a lamp displays 'DEFINED AT FTCI (QUERY ONLY)'.

Fee ceremony round can only be defined for fees with a system fee type of GRADUATION.

Fee Category must be null for Fee Ceremony Rounds defined against FTCI.

The Calendar instance defined in the fee ceremony round must map to an active calendar status.
