Purpose

Use this form to define a link between a Fee Category and a Loan Scheme.

This form can be accessed directly or from FINF2800 (Maintain Fee Categories - in context of a Fee Category), or the main menu.

This function enables the creation of relationships between Fee Categories and Loan Schemes. This assists in the identification of the most appropriate electronic Commonwealth Assistance Form (eCAF) applicable to a student. For example, HECS-HELP, FEE-HELP and SA-HELP.

This form restricts which Loan Scheme values can be mapped to a Fee Category. This restricts the mapping of Fee Categories to Loan Schemes that are catered for in the eCAF functionality (For example, HECS HELP, FEE HELP and SA-HELP.

Rule/Notes:

A Loan Scheme can be linked to a Fee Category however a warning is displayed when a Loan Scheme is linked to more than one Fee Categories..

Validations include:

• A closed Loan Scheme cannot be linked to a Fee Category
• A Loan Scheme cannot be linked to a closed Fee Category
• A user must utilise a Loan Scheme woth a System Loan Scheme Type of 'GOVT'
• A user must utilise a Loan Scheme with a System Transaction Type of, HCSHLPLOAN or FEEHLPLOAN and SAHLPLOAN.
