Purpose

To display details of Enrolment Periods and Dates related to Enrolment and Re-Enrolment of a Course Attempt.
To permit alteration of the Enrolment Category associated with a Course Attempt.

Enrolments

This form displays a history of the Pre-enrolments which have been performed for a Student Course Attempt. Each record represents the registration of a Student Course Attempt in an Enrolment Period. Typically there should be one record per Academic Period. Pre-enrolment may be performed more than once in an Admission Period but only the one record is created in this form. If the Enrolment Category of the existing record differs to that determined by a subsequent run of the Pre-enrolment process, the Enrolment Category is updated to the new value.

The form displays:

• Calendar Type, Start Date, End Date - the Enrolment Periods in which the Student Course Attempt has been registered
• Enrolment Category - the Enrolment Category of the Student Course Attempt
• Enrol Package Production Date - the Date to be used for production of Enrolment Package (where specified in the batch pre-enrolment job)
• Enrolment Form Due Date - the Due Date for return, by the student, of the Enrolment Form (where specified in the batch pre-enrolment job)
• Enrolment Form Received Date - the Date of receipt of the completed Enrolment Form for this Course Attempt. This Date must be manually recorded. Future functionality provides for electronic wanding of Enrolment Forms to record receipt

  Note: The Date fields are blank where 'standard' package production and Form Due Dates are used (ie. those Date Alias Instances specified for the Enrolment Period). Dates are displayed when override Dates are recorded as Parameters to the batch Pre-enrolment job, ENRJ3100.

The Student Course Attempt block contains:

• Person ID
• Sex
• Date Of Birth
• Course Attempt Status
• Course Version

The Student Course Attempt Administration Details block contains:

• Calendar Type
• Start Date
• End Date
• Enrolment Category
• Enrol Package Production Date
• Enrolment Form Due Date
• Enrolment Form Received Date

Changing a Course Attempt's Enrolment Category

The Enrolment Category of a Course Attempt can be changed using this form.

For example, a student may be enrolled using an 'international' student Enrolment Category. Subsequent to initial enrolment, the student may become a permanent resident. The Enrolment Category of the Student's Course Attempt could be changed to a 'domestic' category using this form.

The Enrolment Steps button opens the Maintain Student Course Attempt Enrolment Steps form (ENRF5F10) where the Enrolment Steps applied to a Student's Course Attempt can be viewed. These Enrolment Steps are applied to the Course Attempt by the Batch Pre-Enrolment process (ENRJ3100).

Rules/Notes:

Changing the Enrolment Category of a Student Course Attempt may change the configuration of some Enrolments' screens. Data created under one Enrolment Category may not be viewable under the new category.
