Unit Offering The Unit Offering block (context block) displays the current Unit Offering (context record) from the Maintain Unit Offerings form. The displayed records in the Unit Offering Note block are the notes for the context record. For example, when a Unit Offering is displayed in the Maintain Unit Offerings form and the Unit Offering Notes button selected, then this form will display that same Unit Offering as the context record and any existing notes relating to this record will be displayed. Unit Offering Note This function allows additional information to be attached to Unit Offerings in the form of notes. Notes of many Types may be created, each type reflecting the common purpose of the notes asssociated with it. Notes may be created, stored and retrieved in almost any Format. The currently available formats are:

Standards established by the institution should be used to determine to which data notes should be attached. Notes may be attached to data at the following levels:
For example, Notes of type HANDBOOK could be created to record notes for publishing in a University Handbook. This form can be accessed through the Unit Offering button in the lower block of CRSF2210, then the Unit Offering Notes button in CRSF2310. |
