CRSF1700 - Maintain Course Version Rules

Purpose

To enquire on Course Version Rules.

This form is used to enquire on the Course Version Rule attached to a particular Course Version.

Administrators with the appropriate security level can modify and create Course Version Rules in RULF2000 via the Edit Rule button located in this form (CRSF2700).

This form can be accessed:

  • Directly from a menu, permitting course versions to be queried in this form.
  • In context from the Maintain Basic Course Details form (CRSF1210) - (via the Other Course Detail button, then the Course Version Rules arrow). Return to CRSF1210 to query a new Course Version.

In Callista, there are the following Rule Types for Course Versions:

  • Core
  • Course Enrolment Credit Point Restrictions (OLD)
  • Course Unit Enrolment Credit Point Restrictions
  • Course Unit Enrolment Restrictions
  • Course Unit Enrolment Restrictions (OLD)
  • Course Version Completion
  • Course Version Honours Level
  • Course Wide Enrolment Contact Hour Restrictions
  • Course Wide Enrolment Credit Point Restrictions
  • Course Wide Enrolment Restrictions

Course Version Rule block:

Rules/Notes:

The Rule Description field displays all Rule Types relating to the context course version. If no Rule Text has been recorded in the Rule Text field, then an UNDEFINED lamp is displayed next to the Rule Description.

The Plain Rule Text field is a display-only field that displays a description (in 'plain English') of a corresponding rule, created in RULF2000 or RULW2000 by a specialist user.
Note: This field may be populated from the 'English Rule Text' field in the Rules section of a Proposal (PAAW1100).

The Rule Text field displays the actual rule.

The Edit Rule button provides access to RULF2000 in which you can edit an existing Rule. Only users with the appropriate security level have access to this button.
