Rules/Notes: Course Offering Pattern block The Course Offering Pattern block displays the current Course Offering Pattern (COP) record for a course, from CRSF1500. Each override that is created in the Applicant Portal Admission Period Override block on this screen, is created in context of the COP displayed. The fields in the Course Offering Pattern block are not updateable. Applicant Portal Admission Period Override block This block enables the user to create an Admission Period Override record for each Admission Period that is subordinate to the Academic Year defined by the COP. For each Admission Period, it is possible to define date overrides for Domestic, International and/or Transfer Applicant Types. These overrides will be used in Applicant Portal in determining the COP’s availability. For each of the Domestic, International and Transfer Applicant Types, a check box indicates whether the Default start and end dates (displayed on the form, but defined via date aliases at the Admission Period) will be used in Applicant Portal, or if the Override values (defined on this form) will be used. If the Default start and end dates are to be used, the Override start and end date fields are not accessible. Each attribute in this block is described in the Subsystem Glossary. If the 'Use Default?' checkbox is selected, the values in the Override Start and End Date fields are cleared and are no longer accessible. If the 'Use Default?' checkbox is de-selected, the Override Start and End date fields are accessible. The Override Start and End dates must both contain values, or both null.
