Administrators can create Calendar Statuses which have particular meaning to their institution, but each of these statuses must be assigned a status recognised by the System, to provide functionality. Examples of Calendar Status (terms used with the institution) CURRENT

To create a Calendar Status using the Maintain Calendar Statuses form:

Rules/Notes: The default System Status value of ACTIVE can be altered. |
To modify a Calendar Status using the Maintain Calendar Statuses form:

Rules/Notes: If a Calendar Status has been used in the definition of a calendar, it should not be modified. A new Calendar Status should be created. |
To delete a calendar status using the Maintain Calendar Statuses form:

Rules/Notes: If a Calendar Status has been assigned to a Calendar Instance, it cannot be deleted. However, it can be closed, preventing any further use, by selecting the Closed check box. |
