Purpose

This report produces student Unit Attempt Outcomes in a form which can be used for display on noticeboards

Purpose

The report is designed to provide maximum flexibility by providing several sort combinations for student-friendly display.

Run Details

This job is run at the end of an Assessment Period to produce a list that can be displayed on noticeboards for students' perusal.

It is recommended that this job be run in batch mode. However, it can be run online, particularly where the report is run with parameters specifying a small data set, such as a specific Unit Code.

Refer to the Job Control and Scheduling Subsystem for details of scheduling and running batch jobs.

 

The Unit Attempt Outcome Noticeboard Report block contains:

Parameters tab

  • Assessment Calendar
  • Teaching Period
  • Course Responsible Org Unit
  • Course Group
  • Course Code
  • Course Location
    This parameter will select all students with matching Course Location, and will include all enrolled units regardless of the Unit Location.
  • Course Mode
    This parameter will select all students with matching Course Mode and will include all units in the course regardless of the Unit Mode.
    For example, astudent Unit Attempt Mode of OFF will be selected even if the course mode is ON.
  • Unit Code
  • Unit Location
  • Unit Mode

  • Include Marks check box
    By default this is set to N - No (not selected), which will suppress the marks field in the report.
  • Sort By

Most parameters in this job are used to refine the data set produced in this report.

This report is presented in portrait mode.

The output differs according to the sort combinations selected.
