This job is run during Assessment Periods to provide information that can be used to:
It is recommended that this job be run in batch mode. However, it can be run online, particularly where the report is run with parameters specifying a small data set, such as a specific Unit Code. Refer to the Job Control and Scheduling subsystem for details of scheduling and running batch and online jobs. |
The Unit Review Report block contains: Parameters tab

Rules/Notes: Note: The % symbol indicates that the parameter is not considered for processing. Most parameters in this job are used to refine the data set produced in this report. The Include Child Organisational Units check box determines if details of the top-level owner or direct owner of units are displayed in the report. If Child Org Units are not included, the top-level owner of the unit is displayed. Otherwise, the direct owner is displayed. For example, units may be directly owned by schools, which are in turn owned by faculties. If the check box value is 'No' (not selected), faculty rather than school details are displayed in the Organisational Unit field. If 'YES' (selected), school details are displayed. The Chair of Examination Board Name Label, Chair of Assessment Panel Name Label, and Chair of Assessment Panel Signature Label enables the user to specify institution-specific terms. The Grad Type parameter allows for the selection of one of the following types of grades:
Note: The Grade Type of the latest outcome is selected. The System Result Type defaults to ALL, however, a particular type may be selected. This parameter is particularly useful for reporting on INCOMPLETE grades. If the Remove Grey Shading from the Records checkbox is selected, each alternate record listed in the report is shaded to facilitate identification of records. If the checkbox is unchecked, no shading is applied, instead all records listed in the report are underlined. The report is presented in landscape mode. It can display RECOMMENDED outcomes, FINALISED outcomes or both. Where the report displays both; an extra label indicates if the outcome is R - RECOMMENDED or F - FINALISED. If an outcome consists of an invalid Mark/Grade combination, the label FORCED is displayed after the grade. Space is provided at the end of each unit list for the names and signatures of the relevant Examination Board and Assessment Panel Chairs. |
