Update Process

The process automatically associates the default Assessment Items and Assessment Patterns for a Unit Offering Pattern, with students enrolled in the unit.

  • When a student's Unit Attempt Status has changed to ENROLLED, any default Assessment Items and/or Assessment Patterns for the Unit Offering Pattern are assigned to the student
  • When a Student's Unit Attempt Status changes from ENROLLED to either DISCONTINUED, UNCONFIRMED, DELETED or INVALID, the student's Unit Attempt Assessment Items and/or Assessment Patterns are logically deleted
  • When a student alters their location or class, any of the student's Unit Attempt Assessment Items or Assessment Patterns that are not applicable to the new Location/Class are logically deleted. Where applicable, new Assessment Items and Assessment Patterns relevant to the new Location/Class are assigned to the student
  • Student's records that are unable to be altered are reported as exceptions, along with a description of the attempted action and the reason for the exception
