ADVF1120 - Maintain System Advanced Standing Recognition Type
Purpose |
To allow attributes to be assigned to System defined Advanced Standing Recognition Types |
|
Subsystem | Advanced Standing
Normally Run By | Administration Specialist
Anticipated Frequency | As required
Structure | Block | System Advanced Standing Recognition Type |
Advanced
Standing Recognition Types are described under Advanced
Standing Reference Data. The set of Advanced Standing
Recognition Types is System defined, meaning institutions cannot create
their own. In ADMF1130, Institutions can define their own Advanced Standing Categories and map these to the Advanced Standing Recognition Types recorded in ADMF1120.
The Closed check box - indicates that the Recognition Type can no longer be recorded against an Advanced Standing record. This check box cannot be updated by users. Changing the Closed check box requires the intervention of a database administrator (and would rarely, if ever, be done) due to its effect on Subsystem functionality. For example, selecting the Completion/Progression check box for Recognition Type CREDIT means that students with Advanced Standing of Recognition Type CREDIT have their Advanced Standing counted for completion and progression purposes. Deselecting the same check box for Recognition Type PRECLUSION means that students with Advanced Standing of this Recognition Type do not have that Advanced Standing included for progression and completion purposes. |
