Purpose

This process copies Government Admissions statistics extract files from a secure directory to a directory accessible to users.

This job copies Government Admissions Statistics extract files (produced by the Create Government Admission Submission Files (STAJ0510)) from a secure directory to a directory accessible by users. The secure directory and the user directory are specified by the 'KEEP' and 'USER' environment variables respectively. (Refer to your system administrator.) These files are used to report Application and Offer data to DIISRTE.

Run Details

This job is run in batch mode only.

It is expected to be run when access to the output files produced by the Create Government Admission Submission Files job (STAJ0510), is required. This is typically for:

• Loading these files into HEPCAT
• Extracting information for 'in-house' statistics
• Submitting the files to DIISRTE

 This job is accessed via the main menu.

Rules/Notes:

All parameters are mandatory.

Job parameters are used to identify files based on a Submission Year, Submission Period and a Submission Number for which the files are to be copied.

Extract files:

Leave the Extract Files parameter values as ALL to copy all files for a submission, or enter specific file types separated by a space to copy just those files (e.g. AD PD OD). Values are:

• AD - Application Details file
• PD - Preference Details file
• OD - Offer Details file
• ALL - All of the above files

The file name for the files is: hhhhXXyyyy.pnnnnn where

• hhhh is the HEP (Higher Education Provider) code
• XX is AD (Applications Details), PD (Preferences Details), or OD (Offer Details)
• yyyy is the submission year
• p is the reporting period
• nnnnn is the submission number (with leading zeros
