Purpose

Creates the Unit of Study Completions file for submission to DIISRTE.

This function enables the creation of the Unit of Study Completions file.

The Unit of Study Completions file contains records reporting revised Unit of Study Completions Status (Element 355) data for all the units of study undertaken by students in the reference year.

This function:

• Identifies Unit of Study Completions.
  In respect of a particular reference year, the Unit of Study Completions file contains data for all records reported in all Student Load/Liability Files, provided in respect of that Reference Year. All units within the Government Student Load Liability entity will be reported in the Unit of Study Completions file.
• Identifies and includes Revisions records for Unit of Study submissions (using details captured in Student Unit Attempt Outcomes). The most recent Completion Date for submissions with a UOS-COMP System Submission Type (see STAF1350) is used as the 'date for comparison' to identify Revision records.

The file will be saved to the KEEP directory specified in S_JOB_CONTROL once created.

Rules/Notes:

Submission Year:
Used to specify the submission for which the Government Snapshot is being run. For example, 2004, 2005. Select a Submission Year from the LOV. The Submission Year is mandatory.

One or more records are required to create a data structure.

For Revisions processing, the date at which Student Unit Attempt Outcomes (SUAOs) are compared, is the most recent 'Completion date' recorded in STAF1350 against a Govt. Snapshot Control record with a System Submission Type of UOS-COMP.

(The Completion Date of the UOS-COMP System Submission Type is set as the date at which STAJ0150 was last run and used for the final submission.)

A Completion Date for the submission instance must be recorded in STAF1350 before running this job.

For Revisions processing, STAJ0150 compares SUAOs that existed before STAJ0150 was run, with SUAOs existing after STAJ0150 was run, for students in previous Load Liability submissions.

Records last reported as a Deletion or a Remittance are not included as Revisions.
