STAF113E - Maintain Govt. Admission Sector Fee Type

To allow the creation and maintenance of Government Admission Sector Fee Type codes and descriptions as defined by DIISRTE.

Use this form to create and maintain a Government Admission Sector Fee Type and description. This Govt Admission Sector Fee Type is subsequently reported as DIISRTE element 724 (Sector Fee Type) in the Preferences and Offer Details Files (see STAJ0510) generated by the institution.

Government Admission Sector Fee Types and descriptions provided by DIISRTE (valid at August 2009) are defined as follows:

The Government Admission Sector Fee Type block contains:

  • Govt Sector Fee Type
  • Description
  • Default check box
  • Closed check box

Rules/Notes:

When you enter a value in the Govt Sector Fee Type field, you must also enter a description in the Description field.

The Govt Sector Fee Type is DIISRTE element 724 and is reported in the Application Details File (see STAJ0510).

You can define a default value to be used when no Type of Place mapping has been recorded for an applicant’s application.

Check the Closed checkbox to close the Govt Sector Fee Type and prevent its further selection in ADMF0600.

The Type of Place button navigates to the Maintain Type of Place (ADMF0600) form (in context of the Govt Sector Fee Type) from where you can map the Govt Sector Fee Type to an institution-defined Type of Place.

Validations:

  • Only one default indicator can exist for a Govt Admission Sector Fee Type.
  • One Government Admission Sector Fee Type must be selected as the default.
  • A closed Government Admission Sector Fee Type cannot be selected as a default value.
