Security Role Appeal Type Restriction

The purpose of this form is to define security role restrictions for appeal types. It contains two blocks:

  • Security Role block. Displays details of the context of the security role.
  • Security Role Appeal Type Restriction block. Enables definition of the appeal types applicable to the security role. If one or more appeal types are specified, then the security role only has access to those appeal types. If no appeal type is specified, the security role has access to all appeal types.

This form is accessed via the Maintain Security Role Function Grants (SECF0063) form.

The Security Role block contains:

  • Security Role
  • Creation Date
  • Description

The Security Role Appeal Type Restriction block contains:

  • Appeal Type
  • Description

Rules/Notes:

The Security Role block displays details of the specified security role.

The Security Role Appeal Type Restriction block enables the user to define Appeal types applicable to the specified security role.

If one or more Appeal types are specified then the security role has access only to the specified Appeal types. If no Appeal type is specified, then the security role has access to all Appeal types.
