This function provides the ability to record and maintain institution specific definitions for the system defined donor statuses. These institution defined donor statuses are then used throughout the Prizes subsystem to define the current status of the donor. User defined donor statuses can be mapped to one of the following three system donor statuses:

• PLANNED
• ACTIVE
• INACTIVE

This form is accessed from the main menu.

The Donor Status block contains:

• Donor Status
• Description
• System Donor Status
• Closed check box
• Explanation

Rules/Notes:

Use this form to record and maintain institution specific definitions for system donor statuses. To record a institution defined donor status, perform the following:

1. Enter the name of the institution defined donor status in the Donor Status field.
2. Enter a description for the donor status in the Description field.
3. Select a System Donor Status from the System Donor Status LOV.
4. Selecting the Closed check box prevents the Donor Status from being selected as a donor status.

Rules/Notes:

A Donor Status cannot be created for a closed System Donor Status.

A Donor Status cannot be opened if the mapped System Donor Status is closed.
