Purpose

To create and maintain Graduation Ceremony List Types

This form allows the creation, or manipulation, of Graduation Ceremony List Types. For each type of list required, the user will define the set of fields to be included in the output file created every time GRDJ5500 is run for that list type.

When defining a List Type, a name must be first specified.

This form is accessed from the main menu.

Rule/Notes:

Validations include:

• At least one of Person Display Name, Person Given and Surnames and Graduation Name must be included in the list.

Applicable Regalia - Sourced from the applicable graduand course award (either from the course award regalia details, if it exists, or the parent award regalia details.

'Deferred To' Ceremony Round - If this field is included and the graduand had been allocated to the context round/ceremony, and now has a graduand type of DEFERRED, this field contains details of the future ('Deferred To') round.

'Deferred From' Ceremony Round - If this field is included and a graduand allocated to the context ceremony had deferred from an earlier round, this field will contain details of the previous ('Deferred From') round.

Prize Details - Data is sourced from the Special Awards table and Awards table. When multiple prizes are found, they will appear one after the other in the List Type output. To be selected for a List Type, the Special Award details record must have the 'Announce at Ceremony' check box set to 'Y' in GRDF3600.

Thesis Title - Candidature records and Thesis records are used to select the Thesis title. Thesis Titles will be included when the final title check box is 'Y' and the derived status is equal to the thesis status specified.
