Purpose

To view Fee Capping information associated with a student.

This form displays fee capping information for a student, in context of the Fee Type Group.

Only Fee Types that are configured for capping are displayed - regardless of whether capping has transpired.

The following information is displayed:

• Student details:
  • Person ID
  • Name
  • Sex
  • Date of Birth
• Each Fee Type Group Cap Period associated with the student:
  • Fee Type Group
  • Start and End Dates
  • Minimum Charge and Maximum Charge.
• Unit Attempts assessed for the Fee Type Group Cap Period:
  • Fee Type
  • Unit Code/Version
  • Teaching Period
• Fee assessments and Capping adjustments for each unit:
  • Assessed amount prior to capping adjustment
  • Capping Adjustment amount
  • Final Assessment amount after capping adjustment
• Cap details applicable to each unit:
  • Concession Type
  • Fee Maintenance indicator
  • Course Category
  • SCA Funding Source
  • Minimum Charge
  • Maximum Charge

The form is accessed from the main menu.

All fields are display-only.

Encumbered and Deceased lamps are displayed at the top of the screen if applicable.

The Fee Type Groups are sorted by Calendar Type.

The 'Applicable Cap - overflow canvas' displays cap details related to the Fee Type selected in the Fee Assessment block.
