This job identifies Educational Services for Overseas Students (ESOS) students who, on the 'As At Date' for which the job is run, may not complete their course by their eCoE end date.

The job automatically performs the following calculation to determine if the student will complete their course in time:

  • Determines the Remaining Number of Credit Points for the student's course by calculating the Total Credit Points for the student’s course minus the Total Credit Points for Advanced Standing minus the Total number of passed Credit Points minus Enrolled Credit Points.
  • Determines the Average Credit Points per year for the student's course by dividing the Total Credit Points by the result of the student's Course Version divided by 10.
  • Determines the number of half years left to complete the course by dividing the Remaining Number of Credit Points by the Average Credit Points per year for the student's course (rounds this number to the next highest 0.5 to get the number of half years left).
  • Determines the number of half years left between the As At Date and the eCoE end date.

The student is reported if the number of half years left between the 'As At Date' and the 'eCoE end date' is less than the number of half years left to complete the course.

This job exludes Higher Degree Research students.
