Purpose

This report produces an file from the log file produced in the Bulk Rule Check processes (ENRJ0010, ENRJ0011, ENRJ0012).

Run Details

This job can be run to produce a list of all Exceptions encountered as part of the Bulk Rules Check process by jobs ENRJ0010, ENRJ0011 or ENRJ0012. It works in the same way as ENRR08C0, except that the output is in the form of a file rather than a report. It can be run in conjunction with the process or report on a log created at an earlier time.

The report output contains the word 'PREDICTIVE' (next to the report title), only if the job ENRJ0010 or ENRJ0011 was run with a Status Update Override set to 'N'. In this case, the report details those Student Unit Attempt Statuses that could be changed if the job is run with the Status Update Override set to 'Y'. The word PREDICTIVE indicates that in reality no changes have been made either to the Student Unit Attempt (SUA) Statuses or the student To-Do entries.

The output file is named enrr08c1.csv and contains a header record which names the fields in each record. The file itself is tab delimited and contains the following information: Person ID, Person Name, Email Address, Course Code, Course Title, Course Status, Course Responsible Organisational Unit, Course Responsible Organisational Unit Description, Attendance Type, Attendance Mode, Location, Commencement Date, Nominated Completion Year/period, Credit Points Gained, Minimum CP required, Academic Period, Unit Code, Teaching Period, Unit Title, Unit Location, Unit Class, Credit Points, Status, Message, Predictive.

The Bulk Rules Check Exception Report block contains:

Check - Display Warning Message Only, Uncheck - Display All Messages

Rule/Notes:

All fields except the Warning Only check box are Mandatory.

Organisational Unit, Location and Course Code, as Mandatory fields, must have at least a '%' value.

Select a previous run log from the Log Creation parameter. Run logs are created in ENRJ0010., ENRJ0011 and ENRJ0012.

Note: The Log Creation Date LOV also displays the original parameters for each run of the jobs ENRJ0010, ENRJ0011 and ENRJ0012.

Optionally restrict the report to a particular Organisation Unit, Location or Course Code.

The report can be set to display only warnings or all messages encountered.

Rules/Notes:

The report is presented in landscape mode.

The report lists all the rule breaches, including ‘Unit Enrolment Rule’ breaches and ‘Course Enrolment Rule’ breaches.
