This job checks student unit set attempts and generates a UNIT-RULES TODO entry where a student unit set attempt end date is specified and falls within the date range specified by the entry in the parameter form. 

These todo records will be created for students with a student course attempt status of COMPLETED, ENROLLED, INACTIVE, or INTERMIT.

The existence of UNIT-RULES todos for a particular student course attempt means that when the Bulk Enrolment Rule Checking job ENRJ0010 is next run, the enrolment rules relating to this student course attempt will be checked.

Run Details

This job can be run in immediate mode or batch mode through the Job Control and Scheduling subsystem.

Elapsed Student Unit Set Attempt TODO Creation block contains:

• Check from days ago

Use this parameter to specify a time period within which the end date of a Student Unit Set Attempt must exist.  For example if the job is run with a parameter of 40, then todo records will be created for student unit set attempts with an end date falling between 40 days ago and the current date.

Rules/Notes:

Enter a number value in the 'Check from days ago' field and then run the job.

The UNIT-RULES todo's created by the running of this job can be checked in the student_todo and the student_todo_ref tables.

Example:
Student A has a Unit Set end-dated 31/12/2007, Student B has a Unit Set end-dated 25/12/2007 and student C has a Unit Set end-dated 24/12/2007. If we run this job on the 31/12/2007 with Check from days ago = 6, then todos will be created for student A and B but not student C.
