Unit Set Category

This form is used to record institution defined Unit Set Categories.

These Codes are used to indicate the Type of Unit Set in the Maintain Unit Set Form (CRSF4200). Codes might include CORE, MAJOR, STREAM, DBL-MAJOR, MINOR, SPECLISATN.

Each Code must have a Rank assigned. The Unit Set Category Rank defaults to 1 and can be altered. The Unit Set Rank is used primarily to define the sequence in which Unit Sets are displayed. For example: transcripts of results. The Rank also determines whether a Unit Set can be a Primary Set within the Maintain Student Unit Set Attempt form (ENRF3252).

Examples of Unit Set Categories and Rank:

  • CORE 5
  • MAJOR 1
  • DBL-MAJOR 1
  • MINOR 2
  • STREAM 4
  • SPECLISATN 3

The Unit Set Category block contains:

  • Unit Set Category
