CRSF22A0 - Maintain Training Package Unit - VET only

Purpose

To create and maintain institution-defined Training Package Units.

The purpose of this function is to enable users to:

  • Enquire on the Training Packages defined with the Unit Version as a member.
  • Add a Unit Version to one or more Training Packages.
  • Effectively remove a Unit Version from a Training Package by setting the End Date.
  • Change the owning Training Package for a Unit Version.

Even though the establishment of the relationship between a Unit Version and a Training Package is normally performed using form CRSF11P0 - Maintain Training Package, the relationship can also be created in this form.

This form is accessed through either CRSF11P0 via the Related Training Package button, or through CRSF2210 via the Other Unit Details... button, then by selecting the Training Package arrow.

Rules/Notes:

To create a new Training Package Unit:

  • Enter the Training Package Unit code or make a selection from the LOV.
  • If appropriate, enable the Owner Package checkbox.
  • Specify a Start Date.
  • Enter any Comments and/or Explanations specific to this Training Package Unit.
  • Save.

Rules/Notes:

Institution defined Training Package Units MUST be unique. 

One and only one Training Package Unit record must have the owner Training Package Indicator set to 'Y'.

To modify a Training Package Unit:

  • Find the record to be modified.
  • Modify the record as required.
  • Save.

Rules/Notes:

Once in use, a Training Package Units should not be modified.

To delete a Training Package Unit:

  • Find the record to be deleted.
  • Locate the cursor in the record to be deleted.
  • Delete record.
  • Save.

Rules/Notes:

A Training Package Unit can be closed preventing any further use by selecting the Closed check box on the CRSF11P0 form.
