Purpose

To allow the recording of institution defined Course Stage Types

The Course Stage Type block contains:

• Course Stage Type
• Description
• Closed check box

Use this form to record the institution defined codes for Course Stage Types.

These codes are used to indicate the level of progression achieved in a student course attempt. Codes might include YEAR-01, SCND-YEAR, 3RD-YEAR. The data maintained in this form is used to identify the stages of individual courses in the Maintain Course Stages form (CRSF12D0).

Rules/Notes:

Course Stage Types must be unique.

Once used in the System, Course Stage Types should not be deleted. Select the Closed check box to prevent further use.

Once used in the System, only minor description modifications should be performed.
