Course Details

Course Enrolment Targets

Use this form to define and maintain Vocational Educational (VE)/ Further Education (FE) Course Enrolment Targets, Higher Education (HE) Commencing Targets, and HE Total Targets.

Appropriate combinations of information must be provided in order to maintain each of the targets.

This form is accessed from the main menu.

The Course Details block contains:

• Study Year (LOV)
• Start Date (display only)
• End Date (display only)
• Course Code (LOV)
• Version Number (display only)
• Course Status (display only)

The Course Enrolment Targets block contains:

• Funding Source (LOV)
• Location Code (LOV)
• Course Level (LOV)
• Commencing Target (HE only)
• Total Target (HE only)
• Course Enrolment Target (VET only)
• Funding Source Description
• Location Description
• Course Level Description

Rules/Notes:

A lamp displays the Calendar status of the Study Year for the selected course, (for example, ACTIVE).

If the Funding Sector, Location, or Course Level is closed, a CLOSED lamp is displayed next to the corresponding description fields.

The Course Level maps to the Course Stage.

Validations:

• A closed Funding Source cannot be added to a Course Enrolment Target.
• A closed Location cannot be added to a Course Enrolment target.
• A closed Course Level cannot be added to a Course Enrolment Target.
• A Course Enrolment Target (VET only) can be added only when the Course sector (VET) and Funding Source sector (VET) match.
• The Course Enrolment Target can only be defined for VET.
• Commencement Target and Total Target can only be defined for the HE sector.
