This page is used to view or modify Communication Configuration items.

The following Configuration items are listed on this page:

These items influence the processing of Communication Templates by the autonomous Communication process, for example, the 'Image Viewing Servlet Location' item provides security on the location of images used in image-based Substitution Tags that are inserted into Communication Type templates. For more information see the Related Pages diagram, below, and Understanding Communications .

Communication Configuration Items reside in the Correspondence and Communication system's central configuration table, S_COMMUNICATION_CONF.

Field Details

The following table describes each Configuration item on the CORW0110 page, and includes applicable Table values.

Field: Description:
Image Viewing Servlet Location The URL base location of the servlet used to view image-based Substitution Tags.

When an image type Substitution Tag is inserted into a Communication Type template at run time it will evaluate to this URL appended by the name of the Substitution Tag.

S_COMMUNICATION_CONF.VIEW_IMAGE_SERVLET_URL
Template Derivation Behaviour If set to 'Optimistic' the 'autonomous process', that processes Communication Templates to create Communication Items, will continue processing a Communication Type template when an error is encountered during processing of the Substitution Tags for that Type.

If set to 'Pessimistic' then processing will stop when the first error is encountered during processing of a Substitution Tag.

S_COMMUNICATION_CONF.TEMPLATE_DERIVATION_BAHAVIOUR
Log query run times when deriving template If set to 'Yes' this column enables logging of Run Times for Substitution Tag queries. This allows the user to debug issues with the substitution of tags into a Communication Type template, to see where most of the processing time is spent.
