To define the available types of communication content, both before and after transformation by the messaging service

System Communication Content Types define the available types of electronic message content, both before and after transformation by the message service. Examples include HTML, Plain Text, PDF, RTF and XML .

Rules/Notes:

You cannot close a System Communication Content Type while there are open System Communication Delivery Type Content records mapped to it.

The form will be populated with system data, but will only allow maintenance of the Explanation and Closed check box.

Content Type detail will include an explanation, which can be used in Connect applications.
