CALF0110 - Maintain Calendar Statuses

Purpose

To allow the creation and maintenance of institution defined Calendar Statuses

Administrators can create Calendar Statuses which have particular meaning to their institution, but each of these statuses must be assigned a status recognised by the System, to provide functionality.

The Calendar Status block contains:

The following fields are:

  • Calendar Status
  • Description
  • System Status
  • Closed check box
 

To create a Calendar Status using the Maintain Calendar Statuses form:

  • Enter Insert mode
  • Enter the desired name of the calendar status in the Calendar Status field of a blank record
  • Enter a meaningful description for the calendar status in the Description field
  • Select the appropriate system status from the list of values in the System Status field
  • Save

Rules/Notes:

The default System Status value of ACTIVE can be altered.

To modify a Calendar Status using the Maintain Calendar Statuses form:

  • Find the record to be modified
  • Modify the record as required
  • Save

Rules/Notes:

If a Calendar Status has been used in the definition of a calendar, it should not be modified. A new Calendar Status should be created.

To delete a calendar status using the Maintain Calendar Statuses form:

  • Find the record to be deleted
  • Locate the cursor in the record to be deleted
  • Delete record
  • Save

Rules/Notes:

If a Calendar Status has been assigned to a Calendar Instance, it cannot be deleted. However, it can be closed, preventing any further use, by selecting the Closed check box.
