Purpose

This report provides details of students who have applied for special consideration, and the status of their applications. It may be used for special consideration application management and/or sent to organisational units for information.

Run Details

This report is run through the Job Scheduler in both scheduler and immediate modes. When this report is run depends on the institution's procedure for dealing with applications for special consideration and the institution's information requirements.

 

The Special Consideration Outcome Report block contains:

  • Unit Owning Organisational Unit
  • Unit code
  • Location
  • Unit Class
  • Person ID
  • All applications keyed since <date>
    This parameter allows a date to be specified. Only applications keyed from this date are reported.

  • Include keys to categories/outcomes check box
    This parameter, when selected, causes inclusion of the 'key to categories and outcomes' pages which normally print following each 'Owning Organisational Unit'.

Most parameters in this job are used to refine the data set produced in this report.

The report lists each application for special consideration, providing details of the student Unit Attempt and Assessment Item involved, recorded outcomes and application related dates.

It should be noted that special consideration applications for Assessment Items linked to DISCONTIN student Unit Attempts and Student Course Attempts are also displayed.
