ASSR1080 - Student Examination Location Report

Purpose

This report is used to identify Exam Location conflicts for off campus students and students who have not selected a specific Exam Location

Run Details

This report is run:

  • Prior to an Examination Period.
  • At any time deemed necessary for whatever reason.

The report is used to identify:

  • Students enrolled in off-campus units whose Exam Locations may be in conflict with their Correspondence Address. Possible inconsistencies are identified by manual review.
  • Students who have not yet selected a specific Exam Location. For example, overseas students.

It is recommended that this job be run in batch mode. However, it can be run online, particularly where the report is run with parameters specifying a small data set, such as a specific Exam Location.

The Student Examination Location Report block contains:

Parameters tab

  • Examination Period
  • Teaching Period
  • Exam Location
  • Unit Location
  • Post Code
  • Address Type
    This parameter allows the user to identify which address lines are used. By default, the most recently used Address Type is used.
  • Town/City
  • State/Region
  • Country
  • Report Sort Options

Crs Attempt Status

  • Course Attempt Status
    The report can restrict the output to consider Course Attempt Status. This is done via the Course Attempt Status parameters in the form.
    The Course Attempt Status parameters default to "ALL".Where a student is undertaking multiple courses with different Attempt Statuses, the Exam Location details reported will limit those relevant to the course(s) with the status(es) matching the defined parameters.

Note: The % symbol indicates that the parameter is not considered for processing.

Most parameters in this job are used to refine the data set produced in this report.

There are several sort combinations that can be selected from the LOV.

The report is presented in landscape mode.
