ASSJ4212 is used as the starting point for creating venue availability records. If any venues are unavailable for any sessions during the examination period, the relevant availability records are manually deleted in the Maintain Venue Session Availability form (ASSF4212).

Update Process

This process defaults all open venues to all exam sessions within the selected examination period. Any sessions not required at a venue can be deleted in the Maintain Venue Session Availability form (ASSF4212).

Run Details

This job is run:

  • Prior to creating the examination timetable.
  • At any time deemed necessary for whatever reason.

This job can only be run in batch mode. Refer to the Job Control and Scheduling subsystem for details on scheduling and running batch jobs.

 

The parameters in this job are used to refine the data set produced. The only field is:

  • Academic Calendar
    Limits the extraction to the Academic Period specified. This parameter defaults to the current period and is a required parameter.
