The purpose of this function is to maintain Provider Outcome Identifiers. Each identifier is mapped to a Government Outcome Identifier.
Outcome Identifiers are internal codes identifying Types of Results or Outcomes in modules or units of competency. They are reported in the AVETMISS Enrolment File - NAT00120. See Understanding VET Statistics for details.

One Outcome Identifier is set as the System Default. It is used for deriving the reportable Outcome Identifier in certain circumstances.

Special note should be made of the System Default indicator. In certain circumstances, it is used to derive the module / unit of competency Outcome Identifier (Provider) in the AVETMISS NAT00120 Enrolment File.

The following are examples of Provider Outcome Identifiers:

A20 COMPETENCY ACHIEVED/PASS
A30 COMPETENCY NOT ACHIEVED/FAIL
