Australian Qualifications Training Framework - VET only
The Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF) comprises two sets of nationally agreed standards to ensure the quality of vocational education and training services throughout Australia.
States and territories apply the Standards for Registered Training Organisations under the AQTF when:
The AQTF ensures that all RTOs and the qualifications they issue are recognised throughout Australia.
Qualification Category Identifier
A code that uniquely identifies the category of the recognised qualification awarded to an individual on successful completion of a qualification or course.

Recognition Status Identifier (RSI) - (govt_recognition_type)

RSI = 11
If the Recognition Status Identifier is 11 - Nationally Accredited Qualification designed to lead to a qualification specified in a National Training Package. The VET check box in CRSF1210 - Maintain Basic Course Details must be checked for the information to be added to NAT00030.
RSI = 12
Other nationally recognised
accredited courses endorsed by state or territory Recognition Authorities, or
Registered Training Organisations with delegated authority to self-manage accreditation
must be reported with a Recognition Status Identifier of 12 - Nationally Recognised
Accredited Course, other than a qualification designed to lead to a qualification
specified in a national Training Package. If an Accredited National Course (Recognition
Status Identifier = 12) has been modified beyond the extent allowed by the relevant
customisation rules and the local Training Organisation Course Code has been
applied for the Course Identifier then these courses must be reported with a
Recognition Status Identifier 14 - Other Courses.
RSI = 14
Courses that are not nationally recognised accredited courses including local courses developed by training organisations and courses developed by relevant industry, enterprise, community education or professional bodies to meet an identified training need must be reported as Recognition Status Identifier 14.
