Enables the creation of the Unit of Study Completions File for submission to DEST

This function enables the creation of the Unit of Study Completions file. The Unit of Study Completions File contains records reporting revised Unit of Study Completions Status (Element 355) data for all the units of study undertaken by students in the reference year. This function:

• Identifies Unit of Study Completions
  In respect of a particular reference year, the Unit of Study Completions File contains data for all records reported in all Student Load/Liability Files, provided in respect of that Reference Year. All units within the Government Student Load Liability entity will be reported in the Unit of Study Completions file

The file will be saved to the KEEP directory specified in S_JOB_CONTROL once created.

• Submission Year

Rules/Notes:

The Submission Year is Mandatory.

One or more records are required to create a data structure.

Submission Year:
Used to specify the submission for which the Government Snapshot is being run. For example, 2004, 2005. Select a Submission Year from the LOV.

Create a Unit of Study Completions file:

Select the Submission Year and Run.

File Naming

The file name will be HX1234YY.AXNNNT:

• HX always present
• 1234 representing the Institution Code
• YY representing the file acronym. For example, 'CU' is used for Unit of Study file
• A always present
• X is the Submission Period (i.e. 1 for 1/1 to 30/6 or 2 for 1/7 to 31/12)
• NNN representing the Submission Number.
