To allow the creation and maintenance of Government Work Experience In Industry Codes

This form is used to record and maintain Government Work Experience Codes for Commonwealth Learning Scholarships (CLS). The information entered in this form is used by CRSF2210 (Maintain Basic Unit Details).

This form can be accessed from the main menu.

The following Government Work Experience In Industry Codes have been defined:

Code Meaning
0 Student is not undertaking work experience in industry or student is undertaking work experience in industry where learning and performance is directed by the provider
1 Student is undertaking work experience in industry where learning and performance is not directed by the provider, but support is received from the provider
2 Student is undertaking work experience in industry where learning and performance is not directed by the provider and support is not received from the provider

 

The Government Work Experience In Industry Code block contains:

  • Govt Work Exp In Industry Code
  • Description
  • Closed check box

Rules/Notes:

 

To create a new Government Work Experience In Industry Code:

  • Enter Insert mode
  • Enter the new Government Work Experience In Industry Code in the Govt Work Exp Code field of a blank record
  • Enter the corresponding description for the Government Work Experience In Industry Code in the Description field
  • Check the closed check box if required
  • Save

 

  

To modify a Government Work Experience In Industry Code:

  • Find the record to be modified
  • Modify the record as required
  • Save

 

Rules/Notes:

A Government Work Experience In Industry Code can only be modified where the change is to correct an incorrectly entered description.

To delete a Government Work Experience In Industry Code:

  • Find the record to be deleted
  • Locate the cursor in the record to be deleted
  • Delete record
  • Save

Rules/Notes:

A Government Work Experience In Industry Code cannot be deleted if it has been used to define a Unit Version. It can be closed, preventing any further use, by selecting the Closed check box.
