To set up a list of potential types of event influencing the attendance records of research students

This form is used to set up a list of potential types of event influencing the attendance records of research students. Events are recorded against a research candidate’s attendance percentage variation records in RESF3211, as explanation of changes in their attendance history over the period of their candidature.  

The Research Event Type block contains:

  • Research Event Type
  • Description
  • Default check box
  • Closed check box
  • Explanation

Rules/Notes:

 

A description is required for each recorded event. Any additional explanation is optional.

Rules/Notes:

One Research Event Type must be marked as the default

Once used in the system, records cannot be deleted. Select a record's Closed indicator to stop and future use of that Research Event Type
