The purpose of this form is to record a unique code for donors that are then used throughout Callista SMS to reference the donor details recorded against the donor code. This form provides the ability to map a specific person or organisational unit to a code, indicate a donor's status, and to record relevant comments pertaining to a donor.

The following statuses can be recorded against a donor:

• PLANNED
• ACTIVE
• INACTIVE

Additionally, a number of indicators are maintained by this form to control associated processes throughout the Prizes system. The indicators in this form record the following:

• The donor's intention to remain anonymous
• The donor's wish to suppress correspondence
• Invitations to the prize giving ceremony (there is currently no functionality associated with this indicator).

This form is accessed from the main menu.

• Donor Code
• Description
• Status
• Person ID
• Org Unit Code
• Anonymity check box
• Suppress Correspondence check box
• Ceremony Invitation check box
• Comments

Rules/Notes:

Use this form to record donor details. The following information is recorded against a donor:

• Donor Code - A unique code by which the donor is identified throughout the Prizes subsystem
• Description - A description of the donor
• Status - The system donor status of the donor
• Person ID - The person id of the person associated with the donor
• Org Unit Code - The organisational unit code of the organisational unit associated with the donor
• Anonymity check box - Selecting this check box indicates that the donor wishes to remain anonymous
• Suppress Correspondence check box - Selecting this check box indicates that the donor does not wish to receive correspondence pertaining to the prize
• Ceremony Invitation check box - Selecting this check box indicates the donor wishes to receive an invitation to the prize giving ceremony for which they are the donor (currently, there is no functionality associated with this indicator).

Rules/Notes:

A donor record with a Donor Status that is mapped to a System Donor Status of INACTIVE or ACTIVE cannot be set to a status that is mapped to a system Donor Status of PLANNED.

The Donor Status cannot be set to a System Donor Status of INCATIVE when mapped to an ACTIVE organisational unit.

A donor must have a System Donor Status of ACTIVE when mapped to an effective prize donor.

A donor must have a System Donor Status of ACTIVE when mapped to an ACTIVE prize.

An ACTIVE donor must be associated with either a person or an active organisational unit.

A person may only be associated with one PLANNED or ACTIVE donor at any point in time.

An organisational unit may only be associated with one PLANNED or ACTIVE donor at any point in time.
