Organisational Address |
Organisational Unit block This form is accessed through ORGF0141, via the Org Unit Addresses button (left). This is the context block giving details of the Organisational Unit for which an Address or Addresses are to be created or maintained in the block below. Inquiries cannot be made in this form - to inquire on an Address for a different Organisational Unit, return to ORGF0141 and select the unit there. Organisational Address block One or more Addresses, each of a different Type and Start Date, may be recorded for a Organisational Unit. The content and layout of the address details are determined for each Address Type in the Maintain Address Type (ORGF0116) form. ORGF0116 also permits Address Types to be nominated as correspondence addresses. When a 'correspondence' Address Type is selected in this block, the word CORRESPONDENCE is displayed in red text above the address details. For example, an Organisational Unit could have a physical address and a postal address. |

Rules/Notes: For each Address Type, an institution specifies:
Only one address of each Address Type can be effective at any point in time. Only one address of each Address Type can have no end date set. Only one correspondence address can be effective at any point in time. |

modify an Organisational Unit address record using the Maintain Organisational

Rules/Notes: Whilst address records can be modified, it may be preferable (unless the modification is to correct an incorrectly keyed address) to End Date them in order to maintain a history of Addresses |
