JBSF4130 - Maintain Job Output Types

This form defines which type of Output is available for Staff Connect Reports

This function enables System Administrators to define which types of output (for example, PDF, HTML) are available for a Staff Connect Reports. The function provides the ability to define the characters to be used as a delimiter and the field wrapper (for example, “data, with a comma”, where “ is the wrapper and , the delimiter) for delimited file output types.

Note: System Output Types are for ‘Web Forms’ and Connect Output Types are for Staff Connect Reporting only.

This form is navigated to from the Connect Output Types button in JBSF4110 when the Allow Connect Output Types check box is selected in JBSF4110. Otherwise this button will not be available.

The Job Output block contains:

  • Job Name
  • Output Number
  • Description
  • Output File Name

The Connect Output Type block contains:

  • System Output Type
  • Description

Rules/Notes:

Users cannot define a Connect Output Type that is already defined to the same Job Output record.

A Job with multiple Outputs can have multiple Connect Output Types defined to each of the Job Output records.

To create an Output for Staff Connect Reports:

  • Enter JBSF4110, displaying a Job that has its Allow Connect Output Types check box set to Y and that has an associated Job Output record
  • Select the Connect Output Type button
  • INSERT more than one Connect Output Type
  • Save
  • Open Staff Connect
  • Enter the appropriate parameter application with Callista Connect Staff User
  • Select the Output Type drop list

Rules/Notes:

Connect Ouput Types can be:

  • HTML - Html Content
  • PDF - Portable Document Format
  • Postscript
  • RTF - Rich Text Format
  • XML - Extensible Markup Language

To delete a Connect Output Type from a Job Output:

  • Enter JBSF4110, displaying a Job that has its Allow Connect Output Types check box set to Y and that has an associated Job Output record
  • Select the Connect Output Type button to go to JBSF4130
  • Delete an existing System Output Job Type
