Purpose

The purpose of this function is to maintain Person Prior Education achievements for a student

Enrolments

This function enables the recording of a persons Prior Educational Achievements according to institution-defined Prior Education Types. These Institution-defined types are in turn mapped to government-defined Prior Education Types.

This information is used in the NAT00100 Client Prior Educational Achievement File (Prior Educational Achievement Identifier), for AVETMISS Reporting.

This form is accessed from the main menu, or through either ADMF3000, via the Prior Ed'n button, middle block, or ENRF3000, via the Prior Ed'n button, middle block.

The Person block contains:

• Person ID
• Sex
• Date Of Birth

The Person Prior Education block contains:

• Prior Education Type
• Description

Rules/Notes:

• Enter Insert mode
• Enter the Person Prior Education code in the Person Prior Education field of a blank record
• Enter the Person Prior Education to which the new record maps from the list of values (or key a valid value) in the Person Prior Education field
• Save

Rules/Notes:

Person Prior Education codes MUST be unique. 

All Mandatory fields must have data entered prior to saving a record. Mandatory fields:

• Prior Education Type
• Description(derived).

A Person Prior Education record cannot be created for a closed Prior Education Type.

• Find the record to be deleted
• Locate the cursor in the record to be deleted
• Delete record
• Save

Rules/Notes:

A Person Prior Education record can be closed preventing any further use by selecting the Closed check box.
