This form is used to maintain the set of institution defined Study Reason Identifier (SRI) codes. Each Institution defined code maps to a Government SRI code. Many institute-defined codes can map to the same Government code. Below are possible examples of Study Reason Identifier codes. The Study Reason Identifier codes are completely institution definable.

To create a new Study Reason Identifier code using the Maintain Study Reason Identifier form:

Rules/Notes: A Study Reason Identifier cannot be mapped to a CLOSED Government Study Reason Identifier.

To delete a Study Reason Identifier using the Maintain Study Reason Identifier form:
|
Rules/Notes: A Study Reason Identifier cannot be deleted if it has been used in a student record. It can be closed preventing any further use by selecting the Closed check box. |
To modify a Study Reason Identifier using the Maintain Study Reason Identifier form:

Rules/Notes: A Study Reason Identifier can be closed, preventing any further use, by selecting the Closed check box. A Study Reason record cannot be re-opened if it is mapped to a closed Government Study Reason record. |
