Purpose

The purpose of this function is to maintain institution-defined School Level Completed values

The purpose of this function is to maintain institution-defined School Level Completed values. The institution-defined values must map to Government School Level Completed values. Institution-defined School Level Completed values are recorded for VET Person Statistics.

The following are examples of institution-defined School Level Completed Codes to be created and maintained in Callista using this function.

This form is accessed via the main menu, or through STAF112N, via the School Level Completed button at the bottom of the block.

 

The School Level Completed block contains:

  • School Level Completed
  • Description
  • Govt School Level Completed
  • Closed check box
  • Effective Start Submission Year
  • Effective End Submission Year
  • Comments
  • Explanation
Rules/Notes:

To create a new School Level Completed:

  • Enter Insert mode
  • Enter the new code in the School Level Completed field of a blank record
  • Enter the corresponding description for this record in the Description field
  • Enter the Government School Level Completed code to which this record is mapped
  • Enter a date for the Effective Start Submission Year
  • Enter a date for the Effective End Submission Year
  • Enter any comments or explanations as required
  • Save

Rules/Notes:

A School Level Completed record cannot be created for a closed Government School Level Completed.

A School Level Completed cannot be re-opened if it is mapped to a closed Government School Level Completed.

If both the Effective Start Submission Year and Effective End Submission Year are specified, then the Effective Start Submission Year cannot be greater than the Effective End Submission Year.

Effective Start Submission Year must exist as a Submission Year on the Government Submission Snapshot Control VET table.

Effective End Submission Year must exist as a Submission Year on the Government Submission Snapshot Control VET table.

To modify a School Level Completed:
  • Find the record to be modified
  • Modify the record as required
  • Save
 

Rules/Notes:

Once in use, a School Level Completed code should not be modified.

To delete a School Level Completed:

  • Find the record to be deleted
  • Locate the cursor in the record to be deleted
  • Delete record
  • Save

Rules/Notes:

A School Level Completed code can be closed preventing any further use by selecting the Closed check box
